B.C. Ferry (Swartz Bay) to the Aerie Resort:
(approximately 50 minutes)
As you disembark from the ferry, you will automatically be heading south towards Victoria on the Patricia Bay Highway (#17). Follow this highway for approximately 20-25 minutes. Exit right onto Mackenzie and turn right at the lights. Follow for appr. 5 minutes. Turn right on Highway #1 (Trans Canada Highway) Follow Highway #1 for approximately 25 minutes. You will be on a section of the highway called The Malahat Drive for the duration of your drive to The Aerie.

Soon after you pass a Petro Canada gas station on your right, you will see a yellow flashing light (overhead) indicating the South Shawnigan Lake turnoff. Go past this light. DO NOT TURN LEFT HERE!!

Be sure to get into the left hand lane. About 500 metres past this light, you will see a left hand exit lane to Spectacle Lake Provincial Park. TURN LEFT HERE!

The actual name of the road is Whittaker Road. Whittaker Road forks. Do not turn left towards Spectacle Lake. Keep to your right and the road becomes Ebedora Lane. Continue to the end of this road (about 3 minutes from the highway) and you will see us at the top of the driveway.

Should you happen to miss the turn off from the highway and arrive in a community called Mill Bay, just turn around and drive back about 10 minutes.

From the Aerie Resort to Arbutus Ridge
(approximately 45 minutes)
Turn left from Maple Street onto Cloverdale Street and follow it a few blocks to Douglas Street. Turn right onto Douglas Street and follow it straight for quite some time. It will become the highway leading you out of town. Follow the highway over the Malahat drive (approx. 20 miles) and toward Duncan. You will pass through a small town called Cobble Hill (the speed limit will be reduced so be careful here). Approximately 2 miles north of Cobble Hill you will come to the intersection of the Island Highway and Hutchinson Road (it is a light regulated intersection). Turn right onto Hutchinson Road and follow the signs to Arbutus Ridge.

Olympic View (approximately 40 minutes):
Turn left from Maple Street onto Cloverdale Street and follow it a few blocks to Douglas Street. Turn right onto Douglas Street and follow it straight for quite some time. It will become the highway leading you out of town. Follow it until you come to Exit 14 Langford/Highlands. Take the exit. Stay in the left hand lane and follow the signs South toward Langford. This route will take you under and then onto the overpass onto Millstream Road. Follow Millstream all the way to the very end. It will change names to Veterans Memorial Parkway and eventually end at a ‘T’ intersection with Latoria Street -Turn right onto Latoria. The entrance to Olympic View Golf Club is just around the corner on your left-hand side.

Bear Mountain (approximately 20 minutes).
Turn left from Maple Street onto Cloverdale Street and follow it a few blocks to Douglas Street. Turn right onto Douglas Street and follow it straight for quite some time. It will become the highway leading you out of town. Follow the highway to Exit 14 Langford/Highlands. Turn right off the highway and take the right hand lane onto Mill Stream Road (toward the Highlands). Continue along Mill Stream Road approximately five minutes past the Home Depot to Bear Mountain. The entrance will be on your left hand side.
