Departure Bay Ferry Terminal to Crown Isle:
(Approximately 70 minutes)
Take a right at the first set of lights you come to once driving off the ferry and follow this road to Highway 19A – The Old Island Highway. Turn right onto the Old Island Highway and follow it to the junction with the New Island Highway. (Highway 19 North) Drive north to Courtenay and Comox. Take the exit off the highway into Courtenay and follow the road down the long hill to the very end. The road dead-ends at a major ‘T’ intersection. Turn left at the major ‘T’ intersection and follow the flow of traffic into the heart of Courtenay. This main street will turn into Cliffe Avenue. Follow Cliffe Avenue to the intersection with 17th Street (it leads to a bridge). Turn right onto 17th Street and turn left on the far side of the bridge on to the Old Island Highway. Follow the Old Island Highway just past the Real Canadian Superstore to Ryan Road. Turn right onto Ryan Road. The entrance to Crown Isle is at the top of the hill on the right hand side.
Comox Airport to Crown Isle:
(approximately 5 minutes):
Turn right out of the airport parking lot and then left onto Ryan Road. Follow Ryan Road for approximately 3 minutes. You will see the entrance to Crown Isle on your left hand side.

Crown Isle to Storey Creek
(approximately 40 minutes):
Turn left out of the Crown Isle complex onto Ryan Road and follow it down the hill to the intersection with the Old Island Highway. Turn right onto the highway and follow the signs toward Campbell River. Approximately 11 kilometres South of Campbell River you will come to the junction of the highway and McGimpsey Road (The road is on your left hand side and a little difficult to spot – on your right there is only beach and ocean). Turn left onto McGimpsey Road and follow it to
Storey Creek.

Crown Isle to Fairwinds
(approximately 65 minutes):
Turn left out of the Crown Isle complex onto Ryan Road and follow it down the hill to the intersection with the Old Island Highway Turn left onto the Old Island Highway and follow to 17th Street. Turn right onto 17th street and the left onto Cliffe Avenue. Follow the signs on Cliffe Avenue onto Highway 19 south. Follow the highway south past Parksville until you come to the tiny community of Nanoose Bay. You will know you are close when the highway runs down a long hill and the speed limit drops to sixty kilometres. There are often speed traps here so be careful. As you come to the bottom of the hill you will see a gas station on your left-hand side. Turn left just past the gas station, onto Northwest Bay Road and follow it to Powder Point Road. Turn right onto Powder Point Road and follow it all the way to Fairwinds Golf & Country Club.

Crown Isle to Morningstar

(approximately 50 minutes):
Turn left out of the Crown Isle complex onto Ryan Road and follow it down the hill to the intersection with the Old Island Highway. Turn left onto the Old Island Highway and follow to 17th Street. Turn right onto 17th street and the left onto Cliffe Avenue. Follow the signs on Cliffe Avenue onto Highway 19 south. Follow Highway 19 south to Parksville. Take the first Parksville exit off the highway and follow the road all the way down the long hill to the ‘T’ intersection with the Old Island Highway. Turn left onto the Old Island Highway and drive north all the way through town. Approximately five minutes north of town your will see a large sign on your right hand side advertising Morningstar Golf Course. Turn left here and follow the signs to the Morningstar Clubhouse.

Crown Isle to Best Western Bayside
(approximately 60 minutes):
Turn left out of the Crown Isle complex onto Ryan Road and follow it down the hill to the intersection with the Old Island Highway. Turn left onto the Old Island Highway and follow to 17th Street. Turn right onto 17th street and the left onto Cliffe Avenue. Follow the signs on Cliffe Avenue onto Highway 19 south. Follow Highway 19 south to Parksville. Take the first Parksville exit off the highway and follow the road all the way down the long hill to the ‘T’ intersection with the Old Island Highway. Turn left onto the Old Island Highway and follow the road until you see the Best Western Bayside on your right hand side. Look for the blue sign.

Morningstar to Crown Isle
(approximately 60 minutes):
Retrace your route from Morningstar back past the Best Western Bayside. Follow the signs in Parksville back onto Highway 19 North. Drive to Courtenay and Comox. Take the exit off the highway into Courtenay and follow the road down the long hill to the very end. The road dead-ends at a major ‘T’ intersection. Turn left at the major ‘T’ intersection and follow the flow of traffic into the heart of Courtenay. This main street will turn into Cliffe Avenue. Follow Cliffe Avenue to the intersection with 17th Street (it leads to a bridge). Turn right onto 17th Street and turn left on the far side of the bridge on to the Old Island Highway. Follow the Old Island Highway just past the Real Canadian Superstore to Ryan Road. Turn right onto Ryan Road. The entrance to Crown Isle is at the top of the hill on the right hand side.

Best Western Bayside to Crown Isle
(approximately 60 minutes):
Turn left out of the hotel parking lot and follow the signs in Parksville back onto Highway 19 North. Drive to Courtenay and Comox. Take the exit off the highway into Courtenay and follow the road down the long hill to the very end. The road dead-ends at a major ‘T’ intersection. Turn left at the major ‘T’ intersection and follow the flow of traffic into the heart of Courtenay. This main street will turn into Cliffe Avenue. Follow Cliffe Avenue to the intersection with 17th Street (it leads to a bridge). Turn right onto 17th Street and turn left on the far side of the bridge on to the Old Island Highway. Follow the Old Island Highway just past the Real Canadian Superstore to Ryan Road. Turn right onto Ryan Road. The entrance to Crown Isle is at the top of the hill on the right hand side.

Storey Creek to Crown Isle

(approximately 25 minutes):
Retrace your route from Storey Creek back into Comox. The first major light regulated intersection that you will come to in Comox is the intersection of the Old Island Highway (which you will be on) and Ryan Road. Turn left onto Ryan Road and follow it all the way up the hill. The entrance to Crown Isle is past the top of the hill on the right hand side.

Crown Isle to Victoria Airport
(approximately 3 hours):
Retrace your route from Crown Isle back onto Highway 19 and follow it south to Victoria. Just North of Victoria you will come to the intersection with Mackenzie Avenue (it is the first light regulated intersection you come to after crossing the only bridge north of town and the only intersection on the highway with two left turn lanes). Turn left onto Mackenzie and follow it all the way to the overpass with the Pat Bay Highway. Get in the far right hand lane, go under the overpass and take the on ramp onto the Pat Bay Highway heading north. Follow the signs all the way to the airport.
