Duke Point to the Best Western Bayside
(approximately 40 minutes)
Follow the main flow of traffic from the Duke Point ferry terminal to Highway 19. Turn right onto the highway and follow the Highway North around Nanaimo and past Nanoose Bay to Parksville. Take the first exit into Parksville and follow the road all the way into Parksville. Drive past the park and the mini-golf course right hand side. The hotel is at the North end of town on your right-hand side just past the min-golf course. Look for the sign.

Fairwinds to the Best Western Bayside:
(approximately 60 minutes)
Re-trace your steps back Highway 19 North. Drive North to Parksville. Take the first exit off the highway into Parksville. Follow the road into Parksville. Drive past the mini-golf course and park on your right. The hotel is at the North end of town on your right-hand side. Look for the sign.

Best Western Bayside to Fairwinds:
|(approximately 25 minutes)
Turn left out of the hotel parking lot and follow the road all the way through town and onto Highway 19 south. Follow highway #1 south to the small community of Nanoose. You will know you are close when the highway runs down a long hill and the speed limit drops to sixty kilometres at the bottom of the hill. There are often speed traps so be careful. As you come to the bottom of the hill you will see a gas station on your left-hand side. Turn left just past the gas station onto Northwest Bay Road and follow it Powder Point Road. Turn right onto Powder Point Road and follow the signs to Fairwinds Golf & Country Club.

Best Western Bayside to Glengarry Golf Links:
(approximately 15 minutes)
Turn right out of the hotel complex onto the Old Island Highway. Approximately five minutes north of town you will come to Bennett Road (it is a flashing light intersection). Turn left on Bennett and follow the main flow of traffic (it will turn sharply and become Rupert Road). Follow Rupert to Qualicum Road. Turn left on Qualicum Road and follow it all the way to the golf course.

Best Western Bayside to Morningstar:
(approximately 10 minutes)
Turn right out of the hotel parking lot and drive North for approximately five minutes. You will see a large sign on your right hand side advertising Morningstar Golf Course. Turn left here and follow the signs to the Morningstar Clubhouse.

Best Western Bayside to Crown Isle:
(approximately 60 minutes)
Turn left out of the hotel parking lot and follow the signs in Parksville back onto Highway 19 North. Drive to Courtenay and Comox. Take the exit off the highway into Courtenay and follow the road down the long hill to the very end. The road dead-ends at a major ‘T’ intersection. Turn left at the major ‘T’ intersection and follow the flow of traffic into the heart of Courtenay. This main street will turn into Cliffe Avenue. Follow Cliffe Avenue to the intersection with 17th Street (it leads to a bridge). Turn right onto 17th Street and turn left on the far side of the bridge on to the Old Island Highway. Follow the Old Island Highway just past the Real Canadian Superstore to Ryan Road. Turn right onto Ryan Road. The entrance to Crown Isle is at the top of the hill on the right hand side.

Best Western Bayside to Storey Creek Golf Club:
(approximately 1 hr 30 minutes)
Follow the signs in Parksville back onto Highway 19 North. Drive north past Courtenay and take exit 161 off the highway onto Jubilee Park. Follow that exit to the ‘T’ intersection with the Old Island Highway. Turn right and head south for approx 3 kilometers to the golf course (when the old Island Highway’s speed limit climbs from 60 to 80 kph you are getting close). The turn to the course is on your right hand side onto McGimpsey Road. Take McGimpsey all the way to the clubhouse.
Glengarry to Bayside Inn (approximately 10 minutes) Retrace you steps to Highway 19A (main road through Parksville). Turn right and follow for approximately 7 minutes. You will see the sign for the Bayside on your left hand side at the intersection with Dogwood Street.
